These wall flanges are "break-away" anti-suicide style for 1-inch diameter shower rods.  The spring-loaded design releases the shower rod when excessive downward force is applied to it  Flanges are packaged in pairs that contain a flange for each end of the shower rod.  Mix and match the flanges with the shower rod of your choice - sold separately.
